Scary shit... I spent the last few hours in North Fulton Hospital's ER trying to figure out if my neck was broken, and if my ribs were broken... lol Anycase i wuz jumping on a trampolene with a friend when the damn thing broke, i had jumped really really high, and i fell spread eagle onto the broken tramp, my head snapped back.... Anycase, thank the Lord im ok

Im seriously annoyed wit all the liberal propoganda shit thats all over tv, embeded in my favorite shows, etc. Why is everyone going along with it? Liberalism stands for degrading morals, free sex, murder (abortion), homosexuality, and over all irresponsibility. America has become a lazy nation, we cant hold values, we're ashamed too. This has spilled over into our national thorough put too, all our jobs are going to foreign countrys, because even though the cost of living is greater overseas (in most cases) they are willing to work hard for less pay. Even still there are very few countrys left (even the hard working ones) that hold values. Whats wrong with people, why are they so afraid of conflict, afraid to standup for what they believe in, or even believe in anything at all. What I find really ironic is how everyone bashes Christianty (no prayer in school, of course no 10 commandments, to mentioning God at all) but every1 sticks up for the fucking muslims who run around fucking blowing us up! Damn bastards.... I mean seriously not all of them attack us, but they are still all militant ( those who are realy muslims, read the koran) and they hate anything other than themselves (INTOLERENCE). How is it that liberal trash stand behind them and not other more 'tolerent' religions. Sounds hypocritical to me! I see an alterior motive here, its not freedom, its not tolerence, its be an imoral scumbag, fuk who u want when u want, be irresponsible, be TRASH. its hopeless

THESE ARE MANY CRITISIMS OF CHRISTIANITY AND THEIR REBUTLES... FAIRLY INTERESTING
1. Christianity is a closed-loop religion (as with many others). Either you believe it, or you don't.
2. The Christian Bible has no proof. Either you believe in it 100%, on faith, or you don't.
3. Christianity is closed-loop logic as well.
4. The Bible is no more 'right' than what we now label mythology, legends, and fairy tales.
5. The God in Christianity doesn't seem to make much sense
Hrmmmmmm . . . . this should be interesting.
One at a time.
Point 1 - I agree with that. You either are a Christian, or you aren't.
Point 2 - Disagree. Can't say that the Bible has NO proof. There are decent arguments that say that it is more provable than many of our historical documents, since we have more copies closer to the events than with many of our other historical records.
Also, I think you are looking to archeology for the wrong thing. I don't think archeology has conclusivly DISPROVED the Bible, and we keep finding proof of Biblical events in archeology. This is not conclusive proof, though - I will agree there. It is just interesting, and if taken with other things, can help Christianity. Archeology does not hurt it, though.
Point 3 - Disagree. Christianity has a very good explaination as to why humanity is the way it is. And I don't believe God exists just because the Book says so. The physical world points to a complexity that is not generatable by random chance. As C.S. Lewis argues, we ALL adhere to a moral code that has somehow ended up in our minds - one that we keep breaking, but that we all know about. This interesting behavior by humanity proves that there is a standard of some sort, and that this standard probably gets us a higher power. What KIND of higher power this gets us, though is debatable at this stage. (Christianity is one way of explaining this).
Point 4 - very good points. I would point this out: perhaps, those elements are in mythology because they are true? This does not prove the Bible one way or another. But it would explain why we have similar stories in so many mythologies.
Also, I believe your assumption is that there is no such thing as the miraculous. If there were no such thing as the miraculous, then the Bible could not be true, it would be no better than myth. However, I believe that the miraculous is possible. If there is a God that is all powerful, then those things you just listed as impossibilities ARE indeed possible.
God doesn't turn up in current events? Perhaps he is just not talked about. I have heard of and seen things that would defy a natural explaintion. But I can't ask you to do the same. I've heard of people being healed of diseases (this is in other nations mostly - not sure why this doesn't happen in America) where there is no other explaination but God. And this comes from reliable sources.
Point 5 - well, your point here revolves around taking the Bible at its word or not. If the Book is right, then it should be proof enough, and God does not need to show himself in any special way for you to believe.
And the crime is actually our sin, not our not believing in Christ. Christ's death is just the solution to our crime. The delimma we face is that God is holy, and cannot stand sin. So he can't just let us into heaven, because that would be unjust.
Other places that have never heard? I don't know how God will deal with that - but if he lets them in, it will only be through his mercy and love.
Jesus himself addressed why he doesn't make things clearer: he says that his generation demands a sign, but the only sign they will get is the sign of Jonah - which is simply a message of repentance. That is the same thing that Christianity gives today. Whether you like it or not, that's what we have for you.

A Theory on non-time based actions of a Deity
In Genesis we are told that in the beginning there was nothing. There was no time, no earth, nothing. It has been a source of great frustration as to how God created a world without already having time, if there was no time, how did God exist before the world? This theory proposes a “3d” action based grid that operates not on time, but on free events. So there is a starting point on the grid for the world, but not for God. This starting place on the Grid was not necessarily before any of the other points, nor was it necessarily after the other points. In effect, “the grid” is static but yet fluid at the same time, there is an order to the actions, but that order is not time. Time is a web on this grid in which our “physical conscious” is run on. After we die and our physical conscious branches off as an output of the web of time. As we are freed from the “web of time” output comes from this web on the grid, however this output is not a point, it us. The question could be raised, “if we operate on a free event basis then are we not infinite since we have no beginning time?” This question however can be answered by the simple understanding that while we did not begin at a certain time, we do have a beginning point on the graph. This point is not necessarily before or after the other points but nonetheless it is a beginning, something that God does not have. It could therefore be said that there was never a “time” when we were not but we were at one “point” non-existent.

Have you ever had something so urgent to say, so absolutely important, groundbreaking but u just couldnt word it. Like a concept that you cant seem to grasp but yet you get it. I have so many ideas, thoughts, emotions that are so pertanent to todays polotics, society, governtments, etc. and yet I just cant communicate the thought...
I was doing some thinking about thought, and it came upon me that perhaps our thought, doesnt stimm from the brain, or anything physical at all, but rather from our soul, our metaphysical being. The mind is just a filter, and adapter to allow a spiritual being to interact in a physical world. Thusly explaining perhaps how someone who is mentally retarted can and is held responsible for their sins before God, their soul is complete and whole, and since it really isnt about the physical life they are in a since whole. Perhaps those who are less in the mind, or whose "adapter/filter" for the physical is not right are more in tune with the metaphysical, the spirtual. Perhaps they are the ones who know God the best.

:?: Seriously between the radical philosophy im taught at school, the theology im taught at church, and what im taught at home. I cant figure it out, I mean is our society evil? Is our country the worst or the best? Where do I stand in this? I cant figure out where i stand or why, it sooooo confusing. In some ways I mean we are seriously anti-Christian and yet in someways our country is also like totally awesome, and im stuck in between two extremes ( my parents and my school) and then there's my church stuck in th middle. Is there truth or right answers out there? Or just feuding opinions that clash together ceacelessly?

I just realized something... The way i have been brought up, my whole life, i have been taught that being openminded or thinking differently than far right wing republican beliefs was not only wrong, but a weekness, something to be scorned... I was taught that a lack of radical faniticism in your beliefs was wrong, evil even. Why though? Why is it wrong, why should it be scorned? Why are so many people so fanitical about things that dont even matter?

yah itz sad but true... I wuz hit by a parked minivan... sux doesnt it? Anycase I got the bright idea I wuz going to jump into this van, so I proceeded to open the door. One must realize that such a heavy sliding door hangs on a rather large track, I however did not realize this. I proceeded to line up with the door and run(my undoing)...I ran... I jumped... I hit... I flew back several feet... The blow from the door knocked me out and I hit the pavement at a high rate of speed.... lol hope u get a good laugh out of this
